My words:  Yes, our first!  If we had to give this wine a nickname, it would be Serendipidity.  Our 2022 Barbera captures the perfect balance between ripeness, richness and the bright, crisp acidity that I love in this varietal. Grown at our high elevation, in a nearby, well farmed Fair Play vineyard, this rendition showcases gorgeous aromas of maple syrup, subtly ripe fruit, and toasty French oak.  Raspberry flavors takes center stage, followed by a decadent touch of dark chocolate, creamy oak which brings a luxurious smoothness, while its delicate freshness stays true to Barbera's vibrant nature.  I’ve always wanted to make a Barbera from a ripe year to balance its acidity, and with this vintage, the opportunity arrived—and I’m thrilled with the result.
