Viognier is another Rhone grape that has shown great potential in the Sierra Foothills. Our Viognier is planted on a North facing slope. This cooler exposure will lengthen ripening and help the grapes develop the wonderful aromatic character that makes Viognier so unique.

We train our Viognier to a bilateral cordon with Vertical Shoot Positioning (VSP) and we harvested our first crop in 2000.
