Mourvedre makes a dark, structured wine, with good longevity.
We planted our Mourvedre vines facing directly south to enable
them to get fully ripe, which is critical to successful Mourvedre.
Our Mourvedre, planted in 1997, is trained to a quadrilateral
cordon with a lyre structure in order to control vigor and provide
even sun and exposure to fruit and leaves. We harvested our first
Mourvedre crop in 2000.
