Tech Refugees Head to the Hills
1998 was the inaugural vintage for Cedarville Vineyard wines.
In 1999, passion finally overcame good sense and we quit our
tech jobs, sold our house and moved to El Dorado County to nurture
our fifteen acres of grapevines. Our new winery building and
caves were built just in time for the 2000 harvest. It's a bit
of a homecoming for us, having graduated from the UC Davis Enology
program and worked for several years in the wine industry in
the early 80's, we're returning to our roots.
If you are a media writer and want to know more about Cedarville
Vineyard, our town of Fair Play here in El Dorado County, nearby
ghost towns and our nearly lost local Heritage clone of Zinfandel,
give us a call at (530) 620-WINE. We can send you a media kit,
samples, or arrange a visit.
Thank you, we look forward to talking with you soon.
